DAVE OSMAN General Manager
As General Manager, Dave’s key role for APMS Engineering is Business Development and Client Liaison. When working with clients he draws from over 20 years experience in welding and fabrication of all materials, project management of maintenance works and shutdowns, and quality control.
Dave started his working life as an apprentice in the Royal Australian Navy and completed a 1st Class Welder / Boilermaker qualification. He has extensive experience in the implementation of weld procedures, and can qualify new highly technical weld procedures to meet your project specification. Dave has qualifications as an International Welding Inspector and is a Supervisor with the International Institute of Welding (IIW).
GARY HOPWOOD Operations Manager
As Operations Manager, Gary is responsible for Sales and Fabrication for APMS Engineering. He brings extensive management experience to the Sales and Fabrication activities of the business. He has a special interest in people management and the development of long term client relationships. Gary served a heavy engineering technical apprenticeship in the UK. He gained supervisory experience at onshore and offshore construction sites in Europe and New Zealand.
In the past 25 years he has held various management positions for companies involved in Mining, Petrochemical. Oil & Gas, Power Generation and Water Treatment projects in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. He is a member of the Project Management Institute.
KYLE FROGLEY Project Superintendent
As a Superintendent, Kyle heads up our project crews for all site outages, major shutdowns and upgrade projects within Australia and overseas. He is responsible for the management of all engineering trades people in our onsite teams, and oversees projects so they are safely finished on time and to specifications.
Starting out with a trade qualification as a fitter and machinist, Kyle now has many years of project experience across the Construction, Resources, Petrochemical and Oil & Gas industries. He ensures that clients are kept fully informed about the requirements of the job being completed.
JAYDE OSMAN Human Resources Officer
Approachable and friendly, Jayde is the Human Resources Officer for APMS Engineering. She previously worked in the HR department as an assistant to the HR Manager where she discovered her passion for human resources and recruitment.
Jayde has responsibility to source highly skilled and experienced staff in an industry where safety is very important. She uses her solid communication and excellent problem solving abilities to ensure that appropriate staff are sourced efficiently, leading to positive outcomes for both our clients and the business. She has a broad understanding of the industry and the high-pressure, high-risk environment in which our staff work.
Determined to further her education and keep her skills up to date, Jayde is currently studying toward Cert IV in Human Resource Management in Business at Challenger TAFE.
